New Bones, New Flesh
New Bones, New Flesh was my thesis for my final year at the Cleveland Institute of Art. It is the culmination of all of things I had learned in animation up until that point. I made just about everything in that set, except for the green suit. It took two months of animating and a semester and a half of story prep but I managed to complete something I am incredibly proud of.
The story is simple, an old armature comes in to replace a knee joint that had broken and the Curator (guy in the suit) offers various different materials to replace it instead of just fixing the joint. After going through a couple different materials, the Curator eventually finds an arm made of various scrap pieces and wire. The old armature takes the arm, acquiring something different from their usual.
